Connexions was born out of a desire to offer a service that integrated effectively with other providers in the health care and corporate sector.

These include general practitioners, specialists, rehabilitation providers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.

The need is also apparent in the corporate area to ensure that organisations are healthy and effective and create an environment for their employees which is values based, that is respecting the genuine needs of the individual and the organisation not simply a preoccupation with profit. We talk more about the individuals and organisations we work with in Who We Serve.

Our organisation strives to practice a values based approach to treatment of each other as well as the clients we serve. This is the foundation to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (pronounced 'act') and is discussed further in Our Approach.
